CSS Microsys was started as a System Integrator in 1993. Our main aim was to cater the corporate and end-customers. With the tailor-made configurations, the machines were assembled, installed and supported by ourselves. There was no changes in our operations till 1999 when we have decided to start the import business from Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. We were automatically turned into distribution, as the volume was higher than we could operate from our counter directly to the end-users. Hard disks, mouse and cabinets were our main products to import. We have joined with Epson on year 2000-2001 to re-distribute their inkjet printers. HP was dominating by about 90% of the market share. Can you believe? We have started with just 15 units of Stylus-480 inkjets in a month, and that was the total turnover of Epson for the entire Kerala state. (0.95% market share). We were then promoted as their Distributor for Kerala in 2005. With strategically planned market developments and activities, we could create an Epson wave in the Kerala IT market during 2005-2006, dominating with more than 1500 inkjets (including All-in-ones & photo) in a month! Retail Biz In 2006 April, we have decided to reach the local customers with most reputed hardware products and classic support directly! Our showroom at Kakkanad is the result! We call it as Digital Centre, as we are the answer for the local people who have the digital passion. PCs, Notebooks, Printers, Scanners, Accessories, Components, Peripherals, Consumables…. What to say more? Everything in connection with IT is offered! Software Solutions Software Development is our first diversified activity in the IT segment. We started Numak Software Solutions as 100% subsidiary of CSS Microsys. Website developments, ERP Solutions, consultancy, and manpower developments are the key objectives. A state-of-art solution for Hospitals is the new arrival from Numak Software Solutions, as a package. |
